For countless generations, women have walked a path marked by profound transitions— milestones of Maiden, Mother, Matriarch, and Crone. Yet, in modern culture, these ancient rites of passage have largely been forgotten. House of the Moon is an offering to rekindle that sacred connection, inviting you to a year- long journey of deep ritual and remembrance.

Honouring the Blood Rites of Womanhood

At House of the Moon, we will be honouring and celebrating the blood rites that signify the stages of a woman’s life:

  • Maiden: Celebrating the first blood, the initiation into womanhood, and the blossoming of self
  • Mother: Honouring the birth blood, the act of creation, and the opening into nurturing life
  • Matriarch: Embracing the blood rites of fruition, receiving wisdom gained through cycles of growth and harvest
  • Crone: Commemorating the final blood rites, stepping into the power of completion and unlocking the mysteries of life

These rites, once central to family and community life, are too often missing in today’s fragmented society. House of the Moon offers a sacred space to reclaim these traditions and experience the profound meaning they hold for our bodies, hearts, and spirits.

What You Will Experience

Throughout this year-long journey,  delivered in four parts, participants will be guided through an embodied experience of ritual and celebration, held within a sacred container to honour each rite of passage:

  • Elemental Medicine: We will call upon the wisdom of our deep ancestors and allies, the elements—earth, air, fire, water—weaving relationships of reciprocity as we remember and reconnect
  • Sacred Holding: Each ceremony will offer you the chance to be witnessed, supported, and celebrated as you cross the thresholds of womanhood, whether you are stepping into your first cycle as a Maiden, or walking the path of the Crone
  • Community of Sisters: You will be held in community with other women walking this path, a sisterhood committed to honouring these rites together

A Sacred Space in Nature

The journey unfolds on a magical four-acre estate, perched on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with sweeping views of the Celtic Sea.

At its centre stands a Grade II listed Georgian mansion, our restful sanctuary, and a roundhouse crafted by the local community, where we will gather each day. The roundhouse embodies the spirit of gathering in a circle, symbolising life’s cyclical nature and the sacred womb space we will share.

The connection to nature is central to this experience. The estate’s land and sea views create a sanctuary for deep reflection, healing, and reconnection with the more-than- human world.

A Journey of Reweaving

House of the Moon is more than just an opportunity for growth—it is an invitation to reweave the threads of our lives, to heal our matrilineal lineage, and deepen our connection to the natural world. It is an act of remembering who we are as women and the numinous gifts we hold for our communities.

By creating and participating in these sacred rituals, you will reclaim your place within the greater lineage of women and return to a deeper, more reverent relationship with yourself and the mysteries of life.

Join us as we step into this year-long journey of reclaiming the feminine rites of passage and rediscovering the ancient wisdom that is held within our blood and bones.
